Colin Chase provided eCommerce, SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, and Social Media Marketing services to 2 mid-sized Corporations ($25+ million/year) from spring 2008 through summer 2012. During this time, Social Media was beginning to dominate in many markets, and Facebook and YouTube were essential sites for many  companies Online Marketing strategy. Social Media provided a mechanism to educate an audience while effectively delivering a marketing message equating immediately into sales. Additionally, effective Email Campaigns brought in hundreds and thousands of online orders.

In this role, Colin provided Web Design & eCommerce Development services, utilizing a proprietary internal system and then transitioning the companies into more stable systems like BigCommerce or Shopify. Colin would act as his empl0yer’s “official Liaison” with Hosting Providers (like GoDaddy or others), Email Service Providers (like Constant Contact or MailChimp), Social Media sites (mainly Facebook & YouTube), and an external IT Company (outsourced).

Colin managed a team of professional Developers AND contributed hands-on to the process in areas of his expertise (typically, copywriting and editing, social media management, PPC Campaigns, and SEO efforts). The Development Team varied at each company, but included: graphic artists, web designers, web programmers, eBay specialists, Google AdWords specialists, customer service reps, order processors, and clerical staff.

In addition to his management and hands-on efforts, Colin also provided Keyword Research, Competitive Analysis, Sales Analysis, and Demographic research. Colin also created and executed a detailed eCommerce Marketing Plan each year, and measured and reported on the results monthly or quarterly.
